At Rukam Sitara, we back founders solving novel and evolving problems using advanced technology. Our focus is on companies building in AI, deep tech, or enabling technologies that power or transform consumer-facing businesses.

We’re especially drawn to experienced founders who are redirecting their technical and domain expertise toward breakthrough solutions. These are people who have seen the gaps up close and are now building for what comes next. Whether it's enterprise-grade tooling, infrastructure for scaled intelligence, or next-gen interfaces, we look for conviction-led builders with a long-term view.

We typically invest at the Seed stage, once the product has shown revenue potential. This may be through paid pilots, customer partnerships, or early revenue traction.

We’re comfortable coming in early, but we look for proof that someone is already willing to pay for what you’re building.

Yes. Our focus lies at the intersection of technology and consumer evolution. That includes:

  • AI-first products across infra, agents, and interfaces
  • Deep tech solutions with defensible IP and scalability
  • Platforms enabling better access, efficiency, or personalization in consumer markets (such as health, wellness, food, beauty, learning, or commerce)
  • Enterprise solutions that serve core consumer industries or SMBs with technology enablement

If you’re building something technologically foundational or category-defining in these domains, we want to hear from you.

We look for deep domain experience, vertical insight, and an unfair edge. That could mean a unique distribution advantage, proprietary data, or a product that is hard to replicate.

We’re especially interested in startups building sticky, vertically integrated solutions that make their customers significantly more efficient or competitive. If your product makes the user smarter, faster, or more powerful, and creates long-term dependence, that gets our attention.

We recommend including:

  • The core problem and your unique insight
  • Product overview and differentiation
  • Initial users or customers, especially paid or engaged ones
  • Market context and GTM approach
  • Team bios and founder background

Financials (if available) and fundraising ask

We do both. We often lead or co-lead Seed rounds, and we’re happy to partner with other investors who share long-term conviction and alignment with your vision.

We bring a combination of technical depth, go-to-market thinking, and founder-first alignment. Sitara is designed to be your sharpest sounding board across:

  • Product and infrastructure strategy
  • Positioning, storytelling, and early distribution
  • Access to our extended network of experts, operators, and downstream investors
  • Key company-building decisions, including hiring, capital strategy, and roadmap design

We don’t just provide capital. We aim to be a real partner in building.

Once we receive a deck, we aim to respond within a week. If there’s alignment, we’ll schedule an initial deep-dive conversation. This is usually followed by one or two additional discussions focused on product, market, tech, and team.

We move quickly but make time to understand the founder's ambition, product quality, and technical edge.

Traction matters, but we care more about the quality of early signals. If you've launched, have early users or revenue, and are iterating based on what you're learning, that's meaningful.

We look for indicators of technical velocity and learning loops, not just topline metrics. Progress toward strong product-market fit is more important than absolute numbers.

Where possible, yes. If we’ve had a conversation and believe there's something useful to share, we’ll get in touch.

However, we receive a high volume of pitches and may not be able to respond to every submission. Please don’t take silence as disinterest. If there’s a future fit, we’re always open to re-engaging.
